‘Made in Congo’

It tells the stories of three generations of Congolese women: Bina the daughter, Mulongi, the mother and Coco, the grandmother. Each one of them relates to the Congo differently. Bina doesn’t know the Congo, Mulongi misses it and Coco is resenting it. But despite the every day challenges that those women are facing, they are still trying their best to keep their traditions alive, learning and transmitting their knowledge about Congolese womanhood from mothers to daughters.
