Jill Andrew, CYW, BEd, MA, PhD (student candidate) is an award-winning journalist and currently pens the “Last Word” lifestyle column in the t.o. night newspaper. She is also the producer of Curvy Catwalk Fashion Fundraiser, Dining with Dames Girls Leadership & Empowerment Program and is a Student Equity Advisor. Jill created BITE ME! Monologues: a body image writing/acting series and Precious Bodies, Priceless Minds workshops and keynotes on body awareness, critical media literacy & representation, equity and women’s issues in schooling, careers and relationships.
Aisha Fairclough, BITE ME! Festival Programming Co-Director
Aisha Fairclough, with a background in Anthropology and Communications from York University, is a Toronto based filmmaker and casting producer. She has worked on television series for Food Network Canada, Slice, TVO, Much Music, CTV, CBC and TLC International. In addition to casting for reality based television, she has researched for several documentaries including the documentary Clubland which received rave reviews at the 2009 Hot Docs Documentary Film Festival.
